Poor Show from Kwikot
<p>Kwikot Geysers Durban and Joburg a mission on the phone all day. Sayed in Durban tried to help but the Company policy is unbelievable! My widowed daughter moved into her house on 1 Nov. About a month before the tenants who lived there had a new thermostat installed. 2 weeks after my daughter moved in, hot water came out brown, due to a breakdown in the geyser lining. Under guarantee the geyser was replaced by Kwikot. (who took away the new thermostat in the geyser.) She had to pay a plumber just on R600 to come out and diagnose that a geyser that was under guarantee was faulty - a cost not covered by Kwikot.<br />2 months and 10 days after this, the geyser has packed up! Guarantee? 2 months on this new geyser! - 10 days over this ludicrous guarantee, We have no case.A poor show from Kwikrot - I mean Kwikot. How can a brand new geyser last 2 months and 10 days?!!</p>
Electrical components have a one year warranty from original installation which has expired some time back. On a replacement we give two months on electrical as a gesture due to it already expired as mentioned. (GM)

10 DAYS OVER!!! MY DAUGHTER WIDOWED AND NOT IN THE BEST POSITION TO BE REPLACING GEYSER PARTS. SHE HAS ONLY BEEN IN THE HOUSE 3 MONTHS IN WHICH TIME YOUR GEYSER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED UNDER GUARANTEE AFTER 2 WEEKS THEN A BREAKDOWN 2 MONTHS AND 10 DAYS LATER! SHOULD HAVE FAITH IN YOUR PRODUCT. PRESUMABLY A RECONDITIONED GEYSER? THERMOSTAT NEEDED REPLACING. NO A/C FROM PLUMBER, YET. READING COMPLAINTS RE YOUR PRODUCT ON HELLOPETER, THERE ARE CONFLICTING GUARANTEE PERIODS, IS THERE ANY GOODWILL AT KWIKOT?
