Poor Service

We have used AEG appliances for many years - great products, however, we recently required a minor service on a gas hob. I first contacted Hirsch's, on July 16,as we have bought many of these appliances from that store. A call was logged with AEG and a technician called at our house on 24 July (after a reminder on 23 rd) An led lamp was required on one of the control knobs. I phoned the guys on August 3 to check on progress and was told he was waiting for the part from Jhb, and would take about a week. On my next call to him, I was told the part would arrive on August 18. I have since been informed "6 to 8" weeks. No complaint with AEG products, nor with Hirsch's service, but AEG service , rather but Whirlpool!!,
