Poor Quality and Poor Service from Kwikot

My old Kwikot geyser was leaking and replaced under warranty by Kwikot on 7 April. Within a week, the new geyser started tripping the power. Their team came out and replaced a "leaking" element — but after their work, my ceiling got flooded. I lost 3000 units of water that day. They only came back hours later that day to fix the leaking.

They then claimed my PRV valve was faulty, that was the reason for the flooding that was caused. I then ordered my insurer’s certified plumbers to inspect Kwikots installation and statement about the faulty PRV valve — no leaks, no faults, PRV valve working 100%. This was clearly an attempt to cover up their poor workmanship, which caused the flooding and potential water and electrical damage.

I have lost water units, time, and now possibly face costly repairs — all from what should have been a simple warranty job. This is completely unacceptable. I am demanding full compensation if any water or electrical damages occur and will not recommend Kwikot to anyone ever. Avoid this company if you value your property and peace of mind.

Good day
I trust you are well.

Please note that the pressure control valve failed an hour after the replacement of the faulty component. The pressure control valve which has been installed is approximately older than 10 years and has reached the end of its life cycle. The information we received clear damages which have been caused through the lifespan of the product. The scope of the work did not include any work undertaken on the pressure control valve. We do sympathize with you; however, the pressure control valve is out of warranty and has to be replaced by a private installer.

Regards
Kwikot Service Department

Reviewer Update
Dear Kwikot Service Department,
I am writing in response to your recent message regarding the failed pressure control valve. I must clarify that your statement regarding the valve’s age and condition is inaccurate.
Following your installation and the subsequent “fix-up” by Kwikot through my insurance, I engaged certified plumbers to inspect the entire system. These professionals thoroughly checked the Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) and confirmed that there is absolutely no issue with the valve. They found no signs of malfunction or any problems related to the valve itself.
Additionally, contrary to your claim, there was no “mega leakage” that caused a loss of thousands of water units as you described. The plumbers noted that there was no significant leakage before they intervened.
I would appreciate further clarification on the basis of your claims, as the findings from the certified plumbers do not align with the assessment provided by your team.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.
