Kwikot Grivory 400/****pa Pressure Control Valve Manufacture Failure.

Kwikot claim no: KJ057170 Kwikot claim no: KJ051373 Kwikot claim no: KJ014915

Whenever a Kwikot Grivory 400/****pa pressure control valve fails - either release water from the relief valve or hammering, Kwikot technician advise the customer should make the system balance on cold and hot.

Why recommend change the customers entire plumbing system whereas the customer had an unbalance pressure on the property for an entire 5-10 years (Please note, we understand an unbalance pressure is a non compliance which is noted on a COC)

A different brand would then be installed (Pressure control valve) or the same brand and the problem would stop and the customer would be put back into the position they were and problem solved.

We have been getting this excuse more than three times when logging a warranty on failed Kwikot Grivory 400/****pa pressure control valve which then inconvenience us as contractors will additional expense and time.

Question then, why always use the excuse mentioned above when a faulty pressure control valve is found, the customer should make the plumbing system balance on cold and hot?
