KWIKOT DOES NOT HONOUR THEIR WARRANTEE

We have been installing kwikot geysers as plumbers for over 8 years now, even when their prices sky rocket, we remain loyal due to their willingness to assist clients in the event of warrantee claims and what we believe is a good quality product. We have logged two claims with them in a span of 12 months and both claims were rejected and voided due to matters beyond our control, We have suitably qualified and registered PIRB plumbers kwikot makes the clients suffer for material defects beyond our control. the worst reason we received from them refusing to honour their warrantee was that the vacuum breakers installed were older than the geyser. we explained that we stock vacuum breakers in bulk and of course the vacuum breaker would be older than the geyser yet the plumber they sent refused to accept our explanation. THIS is a warning to all plumbers, please inform your clients of Kwikot's unwillingness to honor their warrantee. they are a strong brand with a proven track record and their conduct in recent years baffles me.
