Kwikcot Geyser burst within the 5 guarantee period, but Kwikcot refuses to honour guarantee
This Kwikcot geyser was manufactured in 2018. Geyser burst in 2020, still within the 5 year guarantee period. But, Kwikcot refuses to honor the guarantee, because the geyser was removed before inspection by their personnel, yet geyser was previously installed and removed by certified plumbers.

17 Jun 2020, 14:49You are making false accusations, Kwikot did not remove your geyser, you told me over the phone that your plumber removed the geyser. As mentioned to you telephonically the warranty is invalidated if a geyser is removed from installation as we did not have the opportunity to inspect the installation and that it may be a valve that is leaking. A geyser should be installed in terms of SANS10254.

I did not say Kwikcot removed the geyser, I am saying that the geyser was removed (yes, by my plumber), before inspection by your personnel. The fact remains that the geyser is still under guarantee, yet the guarantee is not being honoured by Kwikcot.
