Faulty geyser, worst customer service.

Geyser 150L purchased on 20 Jan 2021, serial number: Y418385. 07th July 2022, geyser started overflowing contacted Electrolux. Assessor came out on the 12th July 2022. He advised that the geyser is burst and they will not be able to replace the geyser due to the pipes not replaced, Unfortunately I did not understand so I then called my plumber and he agreed with my plumber that the fittings were all correct. Pity I did not record this conversation. This here proves that the assessor was contradicting himself. I cant seem to understand how the company will not be able to replace the geyser, if at the time of fitment the pipes were all in good condition and there was no need for replacement of pipes. I can understand if they advised the geyser was fitted poorly, in this case it was not. Who in there right sense will incur additional costs if there is no need too. Where are the terms and conditions which states pipes need to be changed even if their is no need too. The fault is clearly within the warranty time. To add insult the assessor was rude and arrogant, he stood out of my door way raising his voice. How disappointing for a major company to just disregard customers. Spoke to the manager, who offered no customer service yet again. Seems like a joke, that pipes can cause a geyser to be faulty. Disappointing, would never recommend this brand again.
