Electrolux /AEG A most dissatisfied experience

We purchased an AEG Dishwasher. It is now in need of a circulation pump but they have no stock. You have to wait 8 to 20 weeks for this to be repaired. With these parts needing to be replaced from time to time due to wear and tear can you imagine them being down to no stock. What kind of business operates like this...no forward thinking to order when stock is low.
