BURST GEYSER - not honouring guarantee
<p>Kwikot Geysers - not honouring guarantee</p> <p>This is the third time replacing a Kwikot geyser in 10 years. The current geyser is under guarantee. Kwikot came out to replace geyser and due to a technicality, remanufactured pressure control valve - will not honour this guarantee.</p> <p>Two issues<br />1 Why are geysers being replaced so often - must be issue with quality<br />2 Companies always find an excuse not to honour guarantees<br /> <br /> </p>
It is a requirement that original parts are used on an installation as we are subject to SABS standards and Reconditioned Pressure Control Valves are not SABS approved. Secondly, was the geyser serviced and Anode replaced as per manufacturer's recommendations to prolong the life of the geyser? Due to this the installation does not comply and as per the T&C's the warranty on an Installation lies with the installer as the manufacturer cannot take responsibility for the installer's mistakes.
