AEG electric pressure cooker

I am a pensioner living in Swakopmund, Namibia. I bought an AEG electric pressure cooker in Pretoria in June 2013 after two of my stove plates gave in and I saw this as a better alternative for repairing the old stove. However, just after the warranty period expired (1 year), I experienced that it let steam out under the lid and even from the lid handle. I thought it was the rubber ring and ordered a new one. I waited more than 3 months for the new ring, but when I started to use it again, I noticed that nothing changed. I then realised the problem must be with its programming. After numerous emails and attempts to get AEG to repair or replace my cooker, they are of no support. I cannot afford to buy a new cooker.
