AEG appliance spares are unavailable

I refer to our AEG Front-end Washing machine which is recently our of warranty. a relatively minor problem arose which could be repaired as DIY, but the spares of this AEG appliance is simply unavailable! I spent hours on the web without any satisfaction, even from AEG themselves. I then personally visited a number of repair agents who all had the same response "you will struggle to find spares for AEG appliances". That is a sad state. Some of the agents advised me to rather buy "not-to-be-named" appliances from Korea and German origin, because their spares are available. I am sure that AEG will want to take note of this state, else it may be viewed as an AEG strategy to not allow their appliances to be maintained.
