Risking with people's lives!

I took my car in for a gearbox repair in January. Firstly it took them forever to get it fixed And then to my surprise the car broke down on Saturday and at checking we realized it was fixed with cable ties after having waited for a lengthy period for the car to be fixed.

I dont understand why people's lives are being placed at risk by this workshop but they are still operating.
