Do not let AE Workshop touch your car
Do not let these people touch your car. My car was sent to them and they decided to swop the engine instead of repair. They billed over R100K and installed a used motor with no proof of low mileage. I experienced endless problems and all they do is quote for new repairs and never take responsibility. Upon salvage of my old motor, of which they made me wait a week, I noticed a matching model vehicle there and they refused me access to the floor. They gave me a pile of mix and match part instead of components that came off. They tried to send me away with my turbo and intake. My new water bottle, vanos gears, inlet solenoid and outlet solenoid wear missing and others. I suspect the mech was donating it to the other vehicle present. Workmanship terrible, take out things and don't put back. Oil leak on tappet cover and oil in plugs from the motor they supp**** and they say its from a wash when the engine has visible dust as well as an oil drip stain. 2/3 bolts fastened on the turbo outlet, missing fender light service panels, wiring not placed on holder clips, missing locknut. I can go on but honestly I tired to reason with them and they just refused to take responsibility. For an engine replacement by them they wait me to pay diagnostic test fee for problems after there repair. As a customer you fix the problem you were paid for, you don't charge me to figure out what is wrong with your repair. Bottom line is I don't trust them and would hate for anyone to go through the same issue.
