They don't honour their promise and put the blame on you

Where do I even begin with this terrible experience?!

I was sold an extended warranty policy over the telephone, and policy documents were sent. As someone who doesn't have a legal background, I trusted the salesperson to explain all the exclusions and details of the policy - and perhaps this is where I made a mistake.

When it came to claiming, I had a terrible experience. I took my car, which was driving, as requested, to one of the recommended mechanics. The mechanic stripped the car, and told me that I would be responsible for the costs of stripping should my claim not be successful. Cutting a long story short, my claim was not approved, and the assessor who had come to inspect the car broke the bearing rings and so my car couldn't be assembled back.

Now I sit with an immobile car, a stripping bill with the mechanic, and still the same problem I had initially when I took the car in. If everything was explained properly and all disclosures made by the insurer when selling me the policy, I would have avoided this nightmare.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
