Laser hair **** with no refund

Advanced Hair Studio ("AHS") in Randburg is ****. Rikash Hansraj convinced me on an ongoing basis to do laser hair treatment which does not work. Subsequently I was convinced to take the strand by strand hair procedure which is a total ****.

I initially visited AHS in 2016 where I paid R15000 for 6 months of laser treatment, once this was done they Rikash told me that they can see hair growth and I should go on a high intensive 3 month laser treatment which I then had to pay an additional R7500. Once this was done in 2017 I did not see any hair growth and my head was still showing baldness.

Rikash then convinced me that I should go with the strand by strand procedure which is a 100% guarantee that I would have a full head of hair. I took the guarantee as a great thing to have and paid an additional R16000 for this. Rikash sold this as the normal price of this procedure is R40000 but they will convert the money I have already paid into this treatment and therefore I only need to pay R16000. They took measurements of my head for the procedure and I was told to come back in 3 months as they source my hair.

After 3 months I went to the place after having paid the full amount required I was asked to pay an additional R850 which was not agreed for the fitting. I paid this and then when going for the procedure I was told that a portion of my head will be shaved and my new hair will be glued on. They were going to glue a wig to my head which I declined for this to happen.

No procedure took place and I have email and phoned numerous times to receive my refund of R16000 on the procedure that was not done as well as the R850 for the fitting. I have asked for the agreement and statements to be sent to me on this procedure and laser treatment numerous times to take this to court but this has not been sent and there has been no replies to my email.

No refunds have been received and no response from AHS. This is a big **** which needs to be addressed.
