Sure to swipe your money

I sell books for a religious organization and I wanted to be able to accept cards. After paying for the machine with my credit card SureSwipe then also *******ly debited the church for the device. I gave them their own invoice and my credit card statement to prove that I had payed for the machine but they refuse to accept that as a proof of purchase. This is clearly a ********** company or serious ***********. I would not advise anyone to deal with them.

Hi Rory

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have escalated your account query to our banking partner and they still cannot see your proof of payment made into our account. We urgently need you to check which bank account you made the payment of R1200 into – that is why we queried your bank statements upfront when you initially raised the invoice issue. Is there anyway you can send us proof of payment please showing which bank you paid into?

Regarding your settlement account, we debit and settle from the same account. This should have been clearly communicated to you upfront and we deeply apologise for the confusion here. This rule applies to all merchants that sign up with us on the Self Sign up portal.

We are treating this a serious forensic matter and are thoroughly investigating what happened. We will get your account manager to call you back and discuss as soon as possible.

Kind regards

The Sureswipe Team

I payed via my credit card on your website. If you don't know which of your bank accounts your website puts the money into then you guys are really useless. I can't believe they let people like you handle money. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Tshegofatso Dube ********** Date: Fri, Jun 29, 2018 at 8:42 AM Subject: Re: Proof of Banking Details To: Rory Gilfillan ********** Hi Rory Apologies for delayed response. Yes we will settle into the church account and debit your account for transaction fees.

I think the problem is that SureSwipe must be handling the credit card payments on your website maybe you should get another company to do it for you.

Hi Rory

After a very thorough investigation we have finally assessed your billing history and due to a system error on our side, we debited your account twice incorrectly. We have already processed a refund of R1999 and are deeply sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Please get in touch with us through your account manager or email *** and we will be happy to assist you further.

Kind regards

My "account manager" Leezane Layte is ignoring my emails as usual. My machine was returned a few weeks ago and I'm yet to receive any refund.
