Adowa living student accommodation: Unfair and Disruptive Student Evictions at Adowa Frederick Street

I am extremely disappointed and concerned about the treatment of students at Adowa Frederick Street residence Students who were already settled into their accommodation have suddenly been told to vacate urgently with no proper notice and no clear legal process This is happening during a critical academic period where students are supposed to be focusing on tests and examinations yet they are being forced to move around under stressful and uncertain conditions My child is one of the affected students and had already established stable living arrangements including access to transport grocery stores and other essential services that support her academic life This sudden relocation is not only inconvenient but also disruptive financially emotionally and academically What is most concerning is that this decision appears to be based on an arbitrary system such as alphabetical order rather than fairness or consideration of individual student circumstances Students who app**** early and have already settled are now being displaced without proper justification There has been no reasonable notice no transparent communication and no regard for the lease agreements in place As far as I understand accommodation providers have a legal obligation to follow due process and ensure that students are not unfairly removed or placed in unsuitable living conditions It is unacceptable for management to create instability for students instead of protecting their wellbeing and academic progress I am calling on management to urgently review this situation stop the forced removals and ensure that all students are either allowed to remain where they are or are provided with suitable alternative accommodation that meets their needs in line with their agreements This situation reflects very poorly on the management of this residence and immediate intervention is required.
