Beware Adobe - they are S c a m m e r s

Over a year ago I unfortunately licensed Adobe's Indesign.

They make it amost impossible for anyone in Africa to stop the license renewal. Unlike other continents to cancel, anyone in Africa has to call a number that is extremely hard to find on their site - you are never sent the number and it is hidden away on sub pages. (purposely so I am sure!)

I was looking forward to license expiry but they debited my account for a new license fee I never wanted and when I called the number and told a customer rep to cancel my license he refused. I then called Adobe's office in JOhannesburg and spoke to a dreadful woman who refused to help.

I've been too busy with business to tackle this till now but I have saved screenshots, names and telephone records as evidence.

Adobe you have ********* business practices and my next step is Twitter if I do not receive an apology and refund FAST!. If I don't, 15,000 Twitter followers and 186,000 Facebook fans (makreitng managers all over Africa) will hear about this. Adobe is dishonest and has terrible staff.

*** : Dhruv K - the ********* man who refused to cancel my license. I had actually asked him how to convert from subscription to paying for the full software. He was only interested in perpetuating the ****. I also called Adobe's tiny 2-person office in Johannesburg the next day and a nasty woman refused to help. I have copies of all emails etc on record. I am thoroughly disgusted by Adobe. You don't build a brand by ******** people.

Let me add. I was once upon a time a huge fan of Adobe. I now hate the brand and company more than I could ever have imagined! I also warn all clients about Adobe and tell them you have ********* business practices.
