Regret to pay the lost phone

I bought a phone from MTN and rook insurance with them. Mtn consultant confirmed that the insurance is added. I couldn't ask for the amount as long as it is insured and o saw on the invoice there is money for insurance. But only to find out it is not the amount for iPhone. But the phone that is on contract is iPhone. So kow they refuse to pay the phone that is lost because according to them the phone is not insured
