MTN Insurance Makes Cancelling a Mission

MTN Insurance administered by Admynttec is a mess. They make signing up quick and easy. You can sign up at any MTN shop in minutes. That is where the help ends.

The moment you have a problem, MTN shops tell you they cannot assist. They hand you call centre numbers and you are left on your own. There is no accountability between MTN and Admynttec.

I cancelled insurance for two devices in October 2025. I received confirmation that the cancellation would take effect on 17 October. Despite this, they continued billing me every month. I was charged for November, December, and January. This is unacceptable.

I have called countless times. Each call ends the same way. I get transferred from one office to another. No one takes ownership. No one fixes the problem. They issue multiple reference numbers, yet nothing gets resolved. The billing continues.

This setup feels deliberate. Easy to sign up in-store. Impossible to resolve issues afterwards. Customers are worn down until they give up.

I do not recommend MTN Insurance through Admynttec. If you value your time and peace of mind, avoid this service. Once they have your details, cancelling becomes a mission with no end in sight.
