MTN insurance

I had an insurance with MTN for 3years and they debited up until my contract was done with them then I continued with insurance so now in Jan they did not debit and I’ve been making contact with them however I never got an assistance I was told the finance department is going to make contact with me up until today when I was told that the insurance is cancelled my question is how is it cancelled even though it couldn’t debit and they don’t have answers to my questions so it’s like I’m being dismissed or ****** and they don’t want to reinstate
