Admyntec Services Doesn't Care

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the handling of my insurance claim following a recent mugging incident. On the 12th of September, I was ****** and all my personal belongings, including my iPhone 14, were ******. I promptly filed a claim with MTN Insurance (Admyntec), on the 16th of September because I had to finalise things at the police station, to replace my ****** phone as per my policy coverage.

However, I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessional and inconsiderate manner in which my claim has been managed. Specifically:

1. Lack of Action: Despite MTN stating that insured devices will be replaced 48 hours after the claim is approved, this has never happened.

2. Unnecessary Delays: My claim has been subject to unreasonable delays without any clear explanation, and useless correspondence emails for example asking for my address when it was included on the claim form.

3. Poor Communication: I have received multiple unhelpful emails that do not address the core issue or provide any meaningful updates on my claim's status. I received an email this morning (23/09/2024) that says my device is in the process of being ordered. I'll only receive it between 5 - 7 working days, as per the email. This means it has taken MTN and Admyntec 3 weeks to replace my phone when they claim it takes them 48 hours to do so.

4. Emotional Distress: The mishandling of this claim has caused me additional stress during an already difficult time following the mugging incident. I need my phone for work, but thanks to MTN and Admyntec I can't even work at the moment.

I expected MTN and Admyntec Insurance to:

1. Immediately process my claim and replace my iPhone 14 as stipulated in my policy. 2. Provide a clear timeline for when I can expect to receive the replacement. 3. Explain the delays and poor communication I have experienced. 4. Do the right thing.

I have been a loyal customer of MTN for several years, and I expected to be treated with respect and professionalism. If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily within the next 7 business days, I will be forced to escalate this complaint to the relevant regulatory authorities and consider legal action.

Meanwhile, Vodacom replaces phones within 48 hours as stated on the website and testimonies by their customers, and my colleagues' experiences. I will be writing about my experiences everywhere on different social media platforms, warning people about Admyntec and MTN's mediocre service.

Admyntec doesn't care. Admyntec is unthoughtful. Admyntec hates its customers and lies to them.
