Trash Company! Stay Away!

I am so sadden and torn by how this company has ghosted me. They have been ignoring my emails for 2 weeks. I feel helpless. I claimed for a phone. The person handling my claim is so rude. Yumna Davids. They just copy and paste scripted responses and they are not answering any questions. I emailed the complaints department 7 days ago and they are also ignoring me. It's the second time I am having issues with insurance for Telkom. I paid them and they have not said anything. The issue is that the phone I had insured had certain features which I was using for my business. The device had Google services. I have subscriptions which I am paying for. I have purchased apps and storage. I have backed up stuff for my business and contacts.

I expressed to the claims handler to look further into my claim because the phone I am being offered is not "exactly" the same. Google has been banned on huawei devices as we all know I kindly asked to be given a device that is compatible with Google. A device that worked the way my old one did. The device im being offered is not the same. The only thing that is the same, is the body... To be honest.

I believe that as individuals, we look at the features on a phone more than the shape.

I want to pay the excess and get a phone. I make a living of my business and I am losing money. My business is important.

I honestly don't know what to do to get assistance. This company is trash. Don't insure with them. Don't insure with Telkom. You will regret it
