“no fuss, no frills” absolutely hilarious.

I’ve been waiting for my phone to be repaired for 5 weeks now, I handed my phone in at Cellular city in Kenilworth Centre in August a few days later I get an SMS to say it’s now at Vodacom Repairs. On the 5th of Sept, I called Vodacom Repairs and was advised that they submitted the claim on the 17th of Aug to Admin plus. I then called Admin plus spoke to Chavonne and was told "sorry this slipped through the cracks" and she’ll process the claim now, she then sends an email advising of the claim auth to the wrong person with my husband in copy. I’m also advised that there’s a R300 excess fee to be paid. On the 14/09, I had to make 5 or more calls before someone gave me an answer about my phone I even spoke to Pier the Manager at Vodacom repairs Canal Walk and he wasn’t any help. Vodacom said my phone was at Cellular City and they said it's at Vodacom. I eventually spoke to Shallan from Vodacom who advised that my phone was with them, but they didn’t receive the auth for the claim. I called Chavonne at Admin plus again and was advised that she sent the email and she’ll call Shallon and call me back. She called me back advising that my phone should be ready by Wednesday 20/09 and I’ll be able to collect it at Cellular City. She advised she’ll keep me updated and I requested that the excess fee be waived as it’s been more than a month. I was advised that she will speak to her Manager and get back to me.

Today I find myself calling Admin plus again asking them where my phone is, then being on hold for more than 10mins waiting for someone to answer then a further 5 mins holding for Chavonne. I’m then told that Vodacom should've called me back with feedback not Admin plus. Whose client am I? Admin plus or Vodacom?

After speaking to Chavonne at Admin plus I received an email stating that Vodacom will contact me and that Vodacom cannot waiver the excess fee, if I want to dispute it I need to contact Monique from Vodacom. I call Monique and she advises that my phone part is on back order and the part will possibly be received tomorrow. She will be the one now keeping me updated and that Vodacom doesn’t have the right to waiver the excess fee.

All this back and forth time and money wasted calling all these companies and this is the response I get from Admin plus. The service is absolutely horrible and very never minded, I will not recommend this insurance to anyone and their slogan “no fuss, no frills” absolutely hilarious.
