Excellent work from Admin Plus and partners

I took out insurance with Telkom when I purchased my Huawei P40 lite. On the 18th of October 2020 I misplaced the phone, I followed the normal procedure of calling Telkom to have the phone blocked and received an ITC reference number and reported the matter at my nearest police station and wrote out an affidavit and received a case number. On the 20th of October I called Finrite (previous Telkom Insurance administrators) to lodge a claim and forwarded all necessary documentation required. I was given a claim number and told that I would receive the outcome within 48 hours. No one contacted me until I decided to follow up on the 12th of November. To my surprise their number was not going through to Admin Plus and I would drop the call because I thought I had dialed a wrong number. After trying a few times I learned from the consultant that Admin Plus had taken over the administration of Telkom Insurance from Finrite. I issued the consultant the claim reference I obtained from Finrite and he lodged a new claim for me with Admin Plus and a day later I contacted to forward all my supporting documents and I was asked to pay an excess. After paying the excess authorization was sent to the insuarance replacement company (Insrap) to replace my phone, however, there was some kind of miscommunication between Admin Plus and Insrap. I called Admin Plus on Monday and spoke to Raquel who was very helpful and even escalated the matter to her Manager Sylvia. Yesterday I called again to follow up and I spoke to a very friendly and helpful Noviwe who put me through to the relevant department where I spoke to Mas who ensured that the Insrap gave me a call within 5 minutes. I was called by Dan from Insrap and he requested from me a delivery address for my new phone and within seconds he sent a link via email to track the delivery of my phone. The collection from Fourways Johannesburg and delivery to myself in Cape Town was done by MDS in less than 24 hours. How awesome is that... Thank you very much Team
