Absolutely atrocious service. ******* of a company.

Where do I even start. I am totally appalled by the service I received from this company. They are a ****. Please do not ever contract with them.

I have been their client through Telkom contract since early 2018. I had never ever claimed.

November 2020 my cellphones camera stopped working. I emailed to lodge a claim, I received no response. I then had to physically go to their offices in Cape Town. I finally received assistance.

Three weeks later I was told I would be receiving my cellphone and then got told that actually I could not receive my phone because it failed the quality assurance check.

I was then told I would receive a cash out. After submitting the required documentation the cash was processed.

I wanted a specific phone however it was beyond the budget I had. A close friend of mine offered to pay the difference and so he did. However it took a while to get the phone as it was always out of stock. Finally received the phone. The friend since has passed away.

I emailed the company so that I could get them to change the imei information on their system. They did not reply. I then had to physically go their branch again. They turned me away and told me to email them even though I had done so already. Fine, I emailed them and only then they rep****.

They asked for the cellphone information and POP. I had everything but the POP as I didn’t know it would be necessary seeing that I was only changing the imei information on the system. Also note that EVERY MONTH I WAS BEING DEBITED WITHOUT FAIL YET THERE WAS NO PHONE THAT WAS INSURED. I could not get the POP as my friend who knew where it is had since died. The company was not sympathetic to my situation and said that they can’t help me, YET THEY WERE SURE TO DEBIT ME EVERY MONTH.

They ignored my emails thereafter. They owe me money for all the months they debited.

These people, every single one of them DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO THEIR JOB. I honestly feel that they should be shut down. They **** people. They are truly ********. They do not know how insurance companies should be run and the law that regulates them. I hate this company. Disgusting, appalling service.
