Uncomfortable shoes not being accepted back

Bought shoes from Adidas online . The shoes have a rope that runs across which make them super uncomfortable. Didn’t know until I wore them . Initially thought it was I must give it time . Wore them from work ba*****t parking to my office and back . Adidas online won’t accept or exchange them .
