Unable to return defective goods

I ordered some indoor boots that adidas states in writing specs indicating that the boot is designed with a traxion sole to move with maximum grip in all directions My first game I used these boots I was slipping all over the place , I actually physically hurt my knee due to this lack of grip I have pictures as proof , I'm no slouch as a soccer player I have played for 22 years and at a high level. I called adidas to advise that on thier online site it was not giving me the option to request return , I advised the above they said they would get a return consultant to contact me concerning the issue as I had worn the boots , I have used them once I reiterate .the consultant tried calling today and I unfortunately didn't answer then Shortly after they called back but it was not the consultant I needed to speak to they said they would get them to call me right there and then , this did not happen couple hours later I called in my airtime ran out and they didn't call back despite having my details . this month alone between the online site and thier gateway store I have spend 2700 rand yet I can't get one return item credited that doesn't work as specified as per thier specs shocking
