Pants delivered to wrong person

This is very unlike me to complain online like this but I’m livid. I ordered pants off the adidas website on the 28th and got an SMS to say they were out for delivery yesterday (30th). After getting no communication, I decided to find out the status of my delivery by starting a live chat on the Adidas website. I was told my pants have been delivered already and it was to someone I don’t know in a completely different area. I phoned Adidas to find out what was happening and was told to wait up to 4 business days for them to get in contact with the courier company and sort it out. This is unacceptable. Of course I asked how I will be compensated for the extra time I have to wait and the man on the phone told me that it’s still within the time frame of delivery. So basically you’re saying it’s okay for me to wait extra days for my ****** pants to be retrieved because it falls within the days of delivery? Why am I not getting another pair delivered to me, why must I wait for you to sort this out with the courier company? Also, use a different courier. Courier IT has shocking reviews online and clearly the delivery drivers don’t care about doing their job correctly. It’s very disappointing but I will highly consider ordering from the Adidas website again.
