No gesture of good will from Adidas, NO compassion! They are just focused on making money!

Last year September I bought 3 pair of sneakers for R4,312.88, I made a mistake when I measured my foot so I ended up choosing the wrong size. All on my, however I never got around to return it because my little brother passed away, I lost my job, we had to move because the house we were renting was sold. Then my father got sick and unfortunately he also passed away, in between I was blessed with a new job. So I thought Adidas will have compassion for my situation so I begged them to exchange the sneakers, I am even willing to pay a handling fee or they can only exchange 2 pairs I will take the loose for one. But they just said NO! All three pairs is still brand new, I only wore them when I tried them on. They are still in the boxes just as I got them. But NO they aren't willing to even listen to me! Yes I should have returned them when I got them I was just a tiny bit busy trying to keep it together. I didn't want a refund I just want the sneakers to be exchanged for a smaller size! Adidas is worth millions, I am a one man show so R5K to me is a lot of money but they just don't care! I am even open to any suggestions!
