Next day Delivery - no contact and no delivery

Adidas online South Africa has a few options for delivery which is great but when you pay for a service and nothing happens, this is not okay.

I bought shoes online and paid the next day delivery fee. So with the next day you expect it to be there. Adidas doesn’t give you a time estimate or a reason if the package will be late - their “timeline” just says it’s with their courier partner. If adidas is going to deliver packages over the weekend they should have a call centre for the weekend. Cause obviously emails don’t work and how do I contact a courier service if I don’t even know who the courier guy is.

The next day delivery should mean the next day. This is awful service and better communication needs to be achieved. I want a refund for my next day delivery and better communication on where my shoes are.

I am this close of asking my bank to reverse the order.
