Lazy courier claiming I am on sick leave.

<p>So I am awaiting a parcel delivery from Adidas today 25 July 2017. I called their customer service around 11 this morning and they assured me that they will deliver my package today. The delivery was scheduled to be delivered at my work. I informed the security at the door that if a delivery comes for me today hee needs to advise me of that so that I can fetch it at the security counter at the front door on which he agreed. </p> <p>Then I received a call from Adidas warehouse saying that the courier tried to deliver my package today at my work but he was told that I am on sick leave? This is probably the lamest excuse that I have heard in a long time because who told him that if he had to pass the same security guard that is aware of him delivering a package to me? I was supposed to paty him cash on delivery and now sit with a wad of cash on my which I have to travel home with again?</p> <p> </p> <p>I think this is unacceptable coming from an international brand and I will never do business with them again nonetheless refer them to family or friends. I hope that there is nothing wrong with that package whenever it gets delivered.</p>
