Incorrect pricing and poor Customer Service

As you are probably aware this store is currently running a black friday promotion. I walked into to this store to check out the deals and picked couple for my kids and then proceeded to the men's section.

I chose one as in the attached picture which was placed in the aisle marked for upto 40% off. The mark down sticker showed the original price as ZAR849 marked down to ZAR510. To my surprise when I checked the original price on the tag it was retailing at ZAR449!

I asked the lady at the aisle showing this discrepancy and requested her to advise me what I should be paying. She went to check and came back stating it is an error on thier side and apologised for it. However, she also mentioned that the product is one of the selected products for mark down and I should be eligible for a discount on the original retailing price ZAR449. She went to check this with her Store Manager who then approached me.

The store manager is Lehlohonolo who goes around by the name "Sticks". I explained the situation to him requesting for a solution. The man just started with the statement that he cannot do anything- point blank! His argument was it is not marked for the black friday promotion and hence I have to pay the retail price of ZAR449. (Then why on earth was it placed in the promotion section if it was not marked down???!) He then states he has the right to give a ZERO discount if needed be as it is upto 40% off!!! (Is that how you call a promotion?)

In addition, he was so arrogant with a despicable attidue and had the audacity to further advise me: " this is business and if you wanted a promotion price, you can opt the incorrect marked down price of ZAR510," which was more than the original retail price!!!!!!!!

Despite the above horrible customer experience, I still proceeded with my purchase for my kids (invoice attached). I have escalated the matter and am expecting a response.
