I placed an order on 29 March 2025 scheduled for delivery between 31 March - 2 April 2025

I placed an order on 29 March 2025 scheduled for delivery between 31 March - 2 April 2025. I have had no updates since the order confirmation and aforesaid dates. Today, 2 April 2025 I made contact with Adidas via chat on their app and a the response was the items have not been shipped due to unforeseen circumstances. After expressing my disappointment as this has happened with a previous order too, the consultant went on to say they have inventory issues. I am extremely upset about this as there was no prior communication about any delays which was only communicated to me when I contacted them.
