Hard to return

I made a purchase online and as soon as I received confirmation I noted it was the wrong product. I contacted customer services to ask to cancel or swop the product. I was told I would have to receive the package, do a return request and it would be collected within 2-14 days. I have messaged numerous times, 14 days have already passed and product still not collected
