False Advertising

My friend and I visited the V&A Waterfront store where we wanted to purchase the same sneaker. The price tag was for R1399.00 but when we got to the till the price was R1599.00. When we explained to the cashier that the price sticker on the display sneaker clearly stated R1399.00, he could not find the shoe with that price sticker on it. After consulting with the sales consultant who assisted us initially, he showed us a sticker with the price of R1399.00 and said it doesn't belong with that sneaker. The cashier phoned the manager and explained the situation who than authorised the price of R1399.00. My friend than paid R1399.00 for his sneaker and when I was ready to pay for my sneaker we were told that he cannot give me the sneaker for the same price and that he only received authorisation for one and because anyone could have put that sticker there(it seemed like he was implying that we changed the sticker). He then phoned his manager and instead of explaining that we were purchasing two, he rudely said infront of us \now his buddy also wants one at the same price\". <br> That was a lie as we both initially wanted the same sneaker, tried it on and went together to the cashier to pay"
