European company treating Africans with disrespect

I placed an order for six items with Adidas on June 15, 2025, and over a month later, as of July 23, 2025, I still haven’t received my package. Despite Adidas’ website noting potential delays due to high order volumes, I remained patient—until I discovered the tracking system falsely claimed my order was “delivered” on July 4 to an entirely different province. When I contacted the courier company, they confirmed the package was delivered to the wrong address. I then reached out to Adidas for assistance, only to be told to personally contact a courier employee over 1,000 km away to recover my parcel. The Adidas representative, based outside South Africa, showed no understanding of local geography or delivery logistics. After a week with no updates, I called Adidas again, only to learn the issue had been “highlighted” and that I should follow up a third time if unresolved. This lack of progress or accountability is unacceptable from a global brand. Adidas took my payment but failed to deliver, offering inadequate support and dismissive responses instead of solutions. It’s disheartening that a company reliant on its customers shows such disregard for their trust, leaving me feeling misled and undervalued.
