Disappointed with Adidas Online SA - Lost 5000 adiClub Points

I bought sneakers online for R1199 and used 5000 adiClub points to get a R500 voucher (paid R699 cash + R500 voucher).

Shoes arrived too big so I returned them within the allowed time. Adidas refunded only R699 and told me my R500 voucher / 5000 points are gone forever.

Nowhere at checkout does it clearly warn you that if you return for a size issue you forfeit your loyalty points. As a loyal adiClub member, I find this very unfair. I didn't want to cancel, I just needed a different size.

Customer service should automatically re-issue the voucher when a full return is done, not make customers fight to get their points back. For a brand this big, the policy punishes loyalty.

Waiting for Adidas to re-issue my voucher. Will update if resolved.
