Black Friday False Advertising
I ordered clothes for my 2 year old online on Thursday 25 November 2021 at 00:10 with order number ***. I chose the EFT Payment option I was then sent an email at 00:20 confirming my order and it had banking details. I immediately made payment with the order number as refence. I even made pay and clear so that the money would reflect in their account immediately. On the 26th November I received an email reminding me to pay and I was on the road at that time, I responded stating that payment was made immediately when the order was placed. The next day I received an email that said my order was cancelled. I responded saying I don't understand why my order was cancelled when I paid it. Then I received an email saying they have seen payment but unfortunately the order is cancelled I should furnish them with my banking details for a refund. When I refused to take a refund and demanded they deliver the items i bought, they kept sending mail that request (#160695) is pending and awaits my feedback with banking details, until I sent them an email written in Red and in Bold that I don't want a refund I want what I paid for then they came back and claimed they reason they couldn't see my order was because I used a wrong reference number, I then sent proof that I used the correct reference number I then received a call from Claudia who is the person i have been having back and forth email conversation with she told me that there is nothing they can do I must just take a refund or credit voucher to use online as they no longer have the items in stock. I told her to transfer me to her superior so that they can explain why they can't give me items that I bought when they had stock and she told me she is the superior. I told her to escalate this matter as she can't tell me she doesn't report to anyone and she said whoever she reports to is not available what will happen is that my money will be just hanging in the system. I cant believe I was denied an opportunity to escalate this matter as Adidas doesn't want take responsibility of the mistake they made of cancelling a fully paid order, now I the customer must suffer for their mistake or could it be that we were ****med they advertised black Friday sale with items they didn't have in stock?
