Be careful when shopping online at the Adidas online-store. They not as helpful and for an online store

I have ordered hockey shin guard online for my child. When i have done this various options were provided. I chose the COD option and they added a R10 for handling fee. I added the delivery address and the order was accepted. Yesterday i received a phone call telling me that they wont be able to deliver in that area and whether i have an alternative address. i gave my home address and again this lade said that they wont be able to deliver. I told her but why did this not indicate on the system when i added the address. All she said that it was their ITs fault and there is nothing they can do and they need to sort out with their IT dept. I dont have any other options as to what to do now. This is very disappointing. I then asked it to be sent to the Adidas outlet and again she told me they not allowed to do these purchases. I would really appreciated it if anyone can assist me as this not only confusing me but the way this handled is not acceptable.
