bad quality ...and no one to take responsibility

i received a pair of adidas in january, not even 6 months later the straps perished. upon enquiring with head office, they advised me to go back to the store i purchased. as this was a gift, i was unable to have it refunded by the store, however even though adidas acknowledges that its a quality defect, they were not prepared to go the xtra mile for a faithful customer...definitely not buying adidas again!!!
