Awful Adidas

I bought my son soccer boots and it was to big...My son went to return it the store in Access Park in KC...The guy and in the store wanted to refund but the female staff member refused to saying they need the bank card payment was made with....This was a cash purchase not on account so I don't see why the cash refund was refused
