AGGRAVATING ADIDAS ONLINE EXPERIENCE- NEVER AGAIN!!

I purchased (Saturday, 18th February 2023) Turf Soccer Boots (X Speedportal.4) for myself, Gamemode Turf Boots and Sean Wothers**** x Hot Wheels Adilette for my little man. Great prices, and since I am a shoe size normal 101/2 I ordered a size 11 to be on the safe side, and the delivery was on time (Tuesday, 21st February). The boots were squeezing tight, so I thought an exchange for a size 12 would be a better plan. The Adidas exchange portal does not have an option for an exchange, only a refund but I booked the exchange anyway to expedite issues.

In the meantime, I thought it would be a good idea to go to an actual shop (Wednesday, 22nd) and make the exchange right there, it’s an Adidas product, right? So off I go to the Fourways Mall, and they do have the product but not the size 12 I am looking for. Very helpful guy (maybe he should work for another company…) looks up the shops where they might have the exact product, or a similar product priced at the same value. I told him I was willing to pay the difference if there was going to be any. So off I go Adidas Ferndale as they have a GX0010 Predator Edge.4, for the same price, yay!!

An assistant at the shop says sorry, we don’t have this item in stock, and therefore we can not make the exchange! I was like call the manager! The manager confirmed that I cannot make the exchange!!

On the way back home, another light bulb lit! Adidas Customer Helpline! Uum, sorry. This item has been logged for a return and channeled for a refund. Set in concrete, can’t help…maybe next time…

The boots will be picked up and it will take 5 working days for them to check them (original packaging, not used, whatnot), and after that the refund will be processed (5-10 working days). With luck, I am looking at 15 working days (the 15th of March, 2023) for me to use the boots I was supposed to use tomorrow (Football Thursday)….
