Adidas ZX Flux

I bought a pair of the above, in black, in October 2016.<br> <br> The shoes were bought at the Menlyn outlet, and I am based in Port Elizabeth. When I saw the shoes for the first time, I loved it, for sure, especially given that the PE store did not have it.<br> <br> A few months down the line, I am now losing my stripes on them. One on the one shoe, another loose on the same shoe, and another loose on the other shoe. Literally losing my hard-earned stripes.<br> I am not one to wear the shoes every day, and there are sometimes weeks that I don't wear them. I also do not play sport wearing them.<br> <br> So off I went to Greenacres Mall outlet in PE, where I am based, to see if they could assist. Lo and behold, I am then told that they can 'see that it is a manufacturing issue', BUT, for my trouble, I am offered 60% of the original price paid for the shoe. . . Really ? This will be in the form of 'credit', which I am free to use at their outlet.<br> <br> Now, not having foreseen this kind of defect happening on a pair of shoes that cost R1500, why offer me 60% only ?<br> I am so bitter about this experience, from a brand that I have been supporting since my youth.<br> <br> Please Adidas, earn your stripes !
