ADIDAS / TEKKIE TOWN SUCK!!

During October 2017 I bought a pair of Adidas sneakers for my son at Tekkie Town in Jeffreys Bay. My son only wears these sneakers to school; and only started wearing them when the schools reopened on 17 January 2018 for the first time.

After less than 2 months the left sneaker started coming apart where the upper is glued to the sole - it was not abused or torn - the "weld" simply came loose.

On 17 March 2018 I returned the sneakers (in the original box and with the till slip) to the store in an excellent condition apart from the problem above. I was however informed that since the sneakers were bought 5 months ago Adidas / Tekkie Town will not be replacing or repairing the shoes; and that I will have to buy a new pair at a cost of nearly R900!!

In light of this I will NEVER buy a single pair of shoes from Tekkie Town, nor will I ever buy any Adidas footwear for anyone in my family. We will also stop stocking all Adidas footwear at our 15 retail outlets.
