My son" Lerato Ntombela" went to Adidas shop in Sandton to buy soccer boots, she got assisted by a lady. Lerato fitted the soccer boots he wanted to buy, further to their conversation Lerato ask what will happen if the soccer boots are not comfortable or size after buying them does not fit or are big, the lady at the shop said to Lerato that, he has 30 days to return the shoes, and the only way to test is to play with the soccer boots. Lerato proceeded and bought the boots, after getting the comfort that he will play soccer with the boots. Lerato went to play soccer, however, the boots now happens to be big as rato cannot feel the soccer ball and make him not play well. He went back to the shop and he was told that he played with the boots, unfortunately we can do exchange, or give you the right size. We then asked to speak to the manager, Hugo is the manager of the store, he tried to assist, we explained to him about on of his staff who assured Lerato that he has 30 day to return the boots should Lerato not be happy with the boots, Hugo disagreed and mentioned that he will not train their staff to say that to client and said this is not true what the lady at the shop told Lerato. The lady was on Lunch, while we were still waiting, she came back from lunch, Hugo asked her and she confirmed again in front of Hugo that yes she did mention the 30 days and that Lerato can play with the Soccer Boots if not happy he can return them back to the shop. Hugo then took our numbers and promised to call us on Monday after speaking with his manager, or his regional manager as he need to refer this matter to him.Monday he did call me on my cell ********** 657 and told me that his manager agreed with him, he will not exchange the soccer boots for Lerato. We left the shoes at the shop. This is unprofessional and not respecting client's rights in returning goods and after their staff member confirmed and assured Lerato.
