Adidas sandals broken and not even 6 months old

I buy a pair of thong sandals from an adidas dealer and I haven’t even had the sandals for 6 months and the thong has already broken. I have a pair of mr price thong sandals that have been through a lot and they are still not broken. The only reason I replace them was because the soul was becoming paper thin. What kind of product do you make if it breaks so easily and you are suppose to be a reputable brand...
