Adidas liberal return policy is a fasade

Purchased an Adidas tekkie from Tekkie Town Trade Route Mall branch - it was very uncomfortable from purchase and I expected that it would improve with usage, never improve causing severe pins and needle type feeling. Discussed with Adidas who inspected the shoe and found nothing technically wrong with it. Adidas however advised that the respective shoe is a court shoe and built for endurance and not comfort and admitted that uneducated staff at their authorised retail outlet should be held accountable. Retail outlet however not interested due to till slip not available however acknowledge the shoe is purchased from them due to the evidence of the price tag on the box. Both Adidias and Tekkie Town concede that the shoe is relatively new judging from its overall condition however not willing to assist purely because no till slip available. Adidas liberal return policy on their website is hence a hoax as they were not willing to compromise in any manner. I have a chain of emails running over a month trying to resolve this matter with Adidas who advised that a fair resolve will be reached however this proved to be false promises.
