Adidas Forest Hill Refuses to sell pants at advertised price

<p>On 26th Dec the staff at Forest Hill Adidas store refused to sell me running pants that were marked down from R699 to R399!!!!</p> <p>There were maybe 5 or 6 of these exact same pants all marked down and only after I tried it on and went to the till to purchase it they told me it was a mistake, these pants were R899 on the tag, not R699. When I told the manager if he knew of the consumer rule that they still had to sell it to me at the advertised price, he told me he cannot sell me R899 pants for the R699 marked down price.</p> <p>I stood there for probably 15minutes asking all the staff if they were aware of the rule and they had to sell the pants to me for R399 they all just ignored me.</p> <p>No one tried to help me. I took a photo of the advertised price on the pants and they just ignored me.</p> <p>I went to a few other stores after and asked them what to do and they all said that Adidas had to sell those pants to me for that price.</p> <p>I've never had such bad service at any store and I actually purchase adidas products for training regularly.</p> <p>This has put me off the Adidas brand for good!!!!</p>
