Adidas caused injury to my son

I am totally disappointed by the quality of the Adidas Tekkie I bought for my 11yr old son to wear to school on a daily basis. I bought this Tekkie at a reputable sneaker store and didn't think it would turn out to be a nightmare for my son. He is an avid soccer player but less than a week into the new school year started limping and complaining that his feet are really sore. I thought it might have been due to his instep. I then bought him 3 sets of insteps to no avail. When I looked at his Tekkie I found the shoe barely had support. A thin layer of material was all that was protecting his foot from the crisscross rubber underneath. This shoe is not even 2 months old and cannot be used. My son has his annual athletics day this month and was even thinking of not participating due to his feet being so sore. This was really disheartening. I had to now buy him another Tekkie to use for school which is a double expense. It is very painful for a mum to see your child in pain knowing that you have done your very best to protect them and try your utmost to provide within your means. i do not understand how a brand like Adidas can make such poor quality shoes and for young kids no less. i would understand if this was a **** but it is not.
